Animal Science PhD

The Doctoral Programme is composed of a 1st period consisting of an annual course, called “Probationary Year” without fixed semester courses.

This model allows the student to perform a custom initial training through courses, classes and / or workshops that can be completed on the same semester or over the two semesters, up to a maximum of the correspondent effort of 30 credits. The remaining work corresponding to the effort of 30 credits from the 1st year necessarily includes preparatory work (laboratory or other type of research) to support the work leading to doctoral thesis. The three following years (180 credits) are devoted to the preparation of an original thesis in one of the specialities of knowledge provided in the field of Animal Science:
